How the Program Works

  1. Apply for a business loan with Century Federal Credit Union.
  2. Our Commercial Lending team submits your Buckeye Business Advantage application on your behalf.
  3. The Ohio Treasurer's Office reviews the application for eligibility.
  4. Once approved, the Treasurer's Office places funds with Century FCU at a below-market rate.
  5. Century FCU passes the savings on to your business through a reduced loan interest rate. Current Loan Discount Rate: 1.95% (subject to change by the Ohio Treasurer's Office).

Is My Business Eligible?

To qualify, your business must:

  • Be headquartered or domiciled in Ohio.
  • Maintain at least 51% of its offices or operations in Ohio.
  • Employ 150 or fewer employees, with at least 51% residing in Ohio.
  • Be organized as a for-profit business.
  • Use loan proceeds exclusively for business purposes.
  • Meet all program requirements established by the Ohio Treasurer's Office.
